Shannon's Bridal Shots

I have been waiting for (what feels like) forever to post these! Shannon let me know very quickly that I had BETTER NOT post these as Turner (her fiance/now husband) would immediately go online to see them. She described him as "the kid that shook all of his presents." Now that they are officially married (Congratulations! More on that coming...), I can finally share these with everyone.

We shot these two weeks before the big day. It was a GORGEOUS Saturday afternoon. The kind of day that makes you say a prayer of thanks just for the weather. We went to a location I've been wanting to shoot since I first saw it, the house of my friend, Bob. Or... Bob's yard, really. He doesn't have trees growing in the middle of his house. That would be weird. And cool. But definitely weird.

A Big thanks goes to Will Underwood, my (sometimes) assistant and (always) best friend.

The last one is good, but the cooler spoils it totally. Attention to detail my friend!

I'm sorry you feel that way. I DID pay attention to that detail. I put the cooler INTO the shot. I also chose that location because of the small American flag on the wall in the background as well as the wires going every which way. Oh, and the orange work lamp that echoes the orange of the cooler.

To each his own, I suppose! Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I like the setting. I think the contrast between everyday items and the beautiful wedding dress sets an intriguing tone. Great job!
