Shannon's Bridal Shots

I have been waiting for (what feels like) forever to post these! Shannon let me know very quickly that I had BETTER NOT post these as Turner (her fiance/now husband) would immediately go online to see them. She described him as "the kid that shook all of his presents." Now that they are officially married (Congratulations! More on that coming...), I can finally share these with everyone.

We shot these two weeks before the big day. It was a GORGEOUS Saturday afternoon. The kind of day that makes you say a prayer of thanks just for the weather. We went to a location I've been wanting to shoot since I first saw it, the house of my friend, Bob. Or... Bob's yard, really. He doesn't have trees growing in the middle of his house. That would be weird. And cool. But definitely weird.

A Big thanks goes to Will Underwood, my (sometimes) assistant and (always) best friend.

Courtney Phelps

I can't believe it's been nearly a week since Courtney and I (and a couple of others!) got together to shoot some promo shots for her. We shot primarily in beautiful, scenic Spring Hill at the Murray County Co-Op. What in the world would we shoot there? I'm glad you asked! Take a look! We found a couple of fantastic locations there. Hands down, the giant (salt?) bins were the best thing there. After a long day of shooting, I think it's safe to say we got some great stuff.

Be sure to check out Courtney's music on her myspace page!

Which Wich Celebrates

Today marked a big day for a friend of mine. Months ago, Chris Thomas announced on his blog that he would be eating all 51 of the fantastic whiches available from our local Which Wich?. Today was the culmination of everything Chris had set out to achieve. Today, Chris Thomas, in the site of family and friends, ate his 51st wich.

To mark the occasion, Which Wich? founder and president Jeff Sinelli flew out to our beloved Nashville to host. There were balloons, pom poms, but best of all, FREE WICHES TO MARK THE OCCASSION!

Congratulations, Chris!

This Is Luke

I met these guys at the Feedback Conference last month. When they took the stage, I was immediately taken with their stage presence and ability to command attention. Wow!

Apparently, I wasn't the only one. They ended up winning one of the main prizes there, and last Friday was our shoot. We started at the "Old Spring Hill High School" and wrapped at a gorgeous house on Sixth Avenue in Columbia. It was built in 1835, but it doesn't look a day over 160.

Check out their myspace!
