Andy & Jennifer's Wedding

Andy and Jennifer know how to throw a party. Seriously. I don't think there was a single person there that could have possibly left unsatisfied. It's a good thing I love shooting, otherwise I would have been having less fun than everyone else (and we can't have that, now can we).

The wedding was in the beautiful Woodmont Christian Church in Green Hills. THIS is a link to the Google "street view" of it. The reception was a short car ride away at the Global Cafe. Everything at both locations was absolutely top notch and excellent. If I am forced to complain, I would wish only for more light... but I pretty much always want that :)

I've had a great time working with Andy and "Scrimp." We've spent a fair amount of time shooting and I can say with confindence, I know why these two work. It's amazing. I never anticipated this part of my job, but it's quickly become one of my favorites. Getting to observe the dynamics between two people that are intimately bound to each other... What a privilege.

Congratulations, guys!

OH! I almost forgot! You can check out their entire gallery HERE.

Holly & Christian - Engagement

The word of the day is "swamped."

I'm way behind in posting these, so I'll keep it short:

Holly and Christian rock. They were willing to do any silly thing I asked of them, and we got some great shots to boot! Their wedding is coming up fast, and I can't wait to share those with you as well!

Jamaica and Stephen

Wow. That's about all I can say. Wow. What a blast.

Jamaica and Stephen are an absolutely perfect couple. Super cute and absolutely perfect for each other. Not to mention the fact that they're desperately in love with each other. I could go on and on, but I won't. Suffice to say that we were all privileged to be in their company.

The entire day took place in the beautiful Union Station Hotel. If you haven't had an opportunity to go, you need to take the time. Simply amazing. The McKinley room was where nearly everything happened except for the champagne reception immediately following the ceremony.

Then there was the band. The Scat Band. I've never seen a band have so much fun. They may as well have been performing to a stadium of a million people for how much heart they put into the show. If you're looking for a band, PLEASE consider these guys.

At any rate, Be sure to stop by HERE and check out the best of the photos from the day! That said, if you're a completest, THIS is complete set...

One other note, those of you that stop by regularly will notice the change to LARGE previews... I just couldn't keep it small for this one!

April (Sandridge) Adams: Bridal Portraits

At long last, here they are! We did two shoots to make sure we got some REALLY killer stuff. I'm so glad we did, too! The first was at a fantastic old home in Columbia. The second was the Belmont Mansion (April's alma mater) You can see the first shoot HERE, and the second shoot HERE!

I have so much fun shooting bridal portraits and it's always so frustrating that I can't post them until MONTHS later when the wedding is over!
